About the Conference

The Houston Chapter of Women in eDiscovery is proud to announce our Third Annual Legal Technology Showcase and Conference on Thursday, September 26, 2019 in downtown Houston, Texas. Presented in partnership with the South Texas College of Law, this event brings national speakers, industry leading  technology providers and legal thought-leadership to Houston, at no cost for attendees.

 

This years keynote address will be present by U.S. Magistrate Judge, Honorable Kimberly C. Priest Johnson, who currently serves the Eastern District of Texas.

 

A full-day event, this conference will feature several educational sessions led by industry experts and thought leaders along with a full day of technology exhibits from leading legal technology providers. The Conference has received 3.75 hours of approved CLE Credit from the State Bar of Texas. The event agenda includes a continental breakfast, welcome keynote, 3 educational sessions, lunch, all day exhibitions, and a post-event happy hour.

 

Attendance is open to all professionals within the legal industry including attorneys, litigation support and legal operations professionals, paralegals, legal IT staff, court reporters, consultants, recruiters and vendors. 

 

Thanks to the generous philanthropy of the South Texas College of Law and ACEDS, along with our conference sponsors and exhibitors, this local event is able to continue again this year without a fee for attendance.

 

Attendees will also have the opportunity to enter in a drawing to win a CEDS scholarship courtesy of ACEDS (The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists).

Women in eDiscovery (WiE) is a vibrant organization that provides educational opportunities regarding technology in the legal industry to its members.
